Pretty Little Thing have revealed Love Island finalist, Gemma Owen, will be the next celebrity to work with the brand.

On an Instagram post, they said: IT’S OFFICIAL 😍💕 Welcome to the PLT family @gemowen_1 ✨ We can’t wait to show everyone what we’re working on…👀

Rumours were circulating that Gemma had signed a deal with Boohoo, but it seems PLT managed to seal the deal first and are expected to release a collaboration with the star in the near future.

This announcement comes just weeks after her fellow islander Tasha Ghouri announced she was going to become eBay's first ever brand ambassador.

This year's series of Love Island was pushing sustainable fashion, with all the islanders wearing clothes from eBay's preloved collection to promote second-hand fashion. However, it seems the majority of former contestants will continue to work with fast fashion brands.

Gemma follows in Molly-Mae Hague's footsteps as she also worked with PLT after she left the villa.

It will be interesting to see where the collaboration takes Gemma and the type of clothes she will decide to release with the brand.
