As we start the new year, I thought it would be good to compile a list of my staple products that I used throughout 2021 and will continue to use in the future. The list includes all things beauty from skincare essentials to must-have makeup products.
This vegan product has been essential to my make-up routine for years. It sets your makeup perfectly and leaves your skin looking flawless. If ever I am having a bad skin day, concealer and foundation followed by this is a life saver. Sadly, when looking on The Body Shop website, I realised they have made a new formula of this powder and the product is the same price, but of a smaller quantity. I am really disappointed as this has always been one of my favourite products! Luckily at the moment I'm fully stocked up, but I am hoping I will still be able to find it in store next month. I have linked the US website as they still have the product in stock.

I was a few years late to jump on this product but I have already repurchased it as I love how it feels on my skin. It sinks in so smoothly and feels light on your face, whilst still providing a barrier between your skin and your makeup. I use it everyday and I don't think I will be swapping this primer out anytime soon!

I happened to come across this skincare product when I was having a bad skin week. I was browsing through the INKEY List's products and found this. Their website allows you to enter details about your skin type and what you'd like a product to do and then it creates an individual 'skin recipe' for you with products that suit your requests. This product is described on their website to: "Clear blemishes fast, reduce inflammation and prevent clogged pores with our non-drying, targeted treatment. With a cream formula, it is easily layered under makeup without flaking". It targets blackheads, blemishes and breakouts. It also contains 2% succinic acid which helps to clear blemishes and improve the appearance of skin. You can put the treatment on spots multiple times a day, and when any of my recently squeezed (ew) spots had this applied to them three times a day, the next morning it had healed and was practically non-existent. This treatment does work fast and I would really recommend it.

Another product from Too Faced has made it into my favourites list. My sister bought me this eye shadow palette and firstly, yes it smells amazing. The range of colours is perfect for both natural everyday eye makeup looks and eye makeup for a night out. I have made use of every single colour and I am not even close to hitting the pan with any of the colours which is a bonus! And it's currently in the sale so how could you say no...
